The facilitated flow

  1. Brainstorm (blind), everyone adds stickies; other people's notes stay hidden server-side until the reveal, so ideas are independent.
  2. Group, drag stickies onto each other to cluster themes; votes roll up automatically.
  3. Vote, dot-vote the themes that deserve discussion time.
  4. Discuss, spotlight cards one by one, mark them discussed, capture action items with owners.

FAQ

Is the retro tool free?

Yes, entirely, no seat limits, no premium formats. And it's open-source.

Can teammates see my stickies while I write?

Not during blind brainstorm, the server withholds everyone's notes until the facilitator reveals. Independent ideas first, discussion second.

Can we run it anonymously?

Yes, the facilitator can switch the retro to anonymous and author names disappear from stickies in every phase, including discussion.

How do we keep the outcomes?

One click exports a Markdown summary (action items first) or a PNG/PDF of the whole board, before the room forgets everything.

What size team does it handle?

Rooms are tested with 20+ people on the board at once, cursors and all.

More in the same room

The same link also runs planning poker, polls & word clouds, anonymous team health checks, a Now/Next/Later roadmap board, a random picker wheel and a shared timer.

Other tools keep your boards. Scrumlo keeps nothing.

Retro honesty drops when people wonder who can read the board later. Scrumlo rooms hold stickies only in memory, only while the room is live, then they delete themselves.
